All United Sciences 3D scanners come with a 1-year warranty that safeguards against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period starts on the device's delivery date. Please note that consumable parts of the device and optional scanner accessories, available for separate purchase, are not covered by this warranty.

A United Sciences 3D scanner can only be repaired under warranty after an in-house assessment by an authorized United Sciences repair technician, provided that the scanner is found to have material or workmanship defects.

The United Sciences repair technician will document the assessment with photographs, including images of the received package's condition (if inadequately packed or damaged) and the scanner's condition (an examination for external and internal damage along with an overall condition report).

For the warranty to remain valid, it is essential to return the scanner for repair in its original protective packaging. If you are uncertain about the original packaging of your scanner, please consult your local dealer or the United Sciences Support Team.

Should the scanner be returned in an unsuitable packaging, United Sciences will supply the appropriate packaging for the return shipment, and the end-user will be responsible for associated charges. The United Sciences warranty does not include transportation or insurance costs. In case of a warranty repair, kindly get in touch with your local United Sciences dealer/distributor to assist you in arranging the device's shipment to United Sciences and clarify all relevant procedures.

In the rare occurrence of a United Sciences scanner experiencing initial functionality issues upon arrival, the Buyer is entitled to a 14-day window to initiate a return of the product to United Sciences  and request a replacement. Should the product not be returned within this specified 14-day period, commencing from the date of delivery, it will no longer qualify for a replacement due to initial functionality concerns and will instead be subject to standard warranty terms and conditions.

This warranty explicitly excludes coverage for defects or damage arising from abnormal usage, which encompasses, but is not limited to, alterations, modifications, neglect, misuse, connection to an inappropriate power source, exposure to severe environmental conditions, contact with liquids, and damage resulting from transportation. The warranty also does not extend to products that have been lost, stolen, dropped, shattered, or subjected to any form of modification. In addition, if any components of the scanner are identified as defective and subsequently replaced under warranty, they shall immediately become the property of United Sciences, with no possibility of reclamation by the scanner owner under any circumstances.

Repairs of United Sciences 3D scanners are exclusively performed by certified United Sciences repair technicians. Please be aware that any indications of tampering or unauthorized repair detected during the scanner's inspection will result in an immediate voiding of the warranty.
